Bright red pipes, valves and round gauges climb across a pale wall, drawn with the loving attention usually kept for flowers. The machinery has no purpose we can see. It measures nothing and leads nowhere.
The title is a quiet joke and a serious thought: life is empty and meaningless until you give it meaning or create it yourself. Like the artist drawing these pipes, we decide what deserves our attention, and what we look at with love becomes beautiful.
It brings a graphic, modern, thoughtful note to an office, workshop, studio, kitchen or loft.
Created by Larisa Volkavichyute in soft pastels and printed for the wall.
